Enclosed you will find XYEM in both the add-in macro and, for your own perusal, a commented form of the macro. The commented macro is not an add-in document and therefore does not allow saving of default preferences unless saved from the file menu: the commented code is not for active use, it is for instructional use.
XYE Menu is targeted at those who wish to remain in Excel to create plots with errorbars, those who do not wish to buy another package for plots when they already own Excel, and those who need to create errorbar plots in an environment with Excel's capabilities.
This BBS version may not be sold or placed on a disk which is sold without BTR's permission. This version is a fully functional evaluation copy, registered commercial copies cost $49. Educational institutions and individual noncommercial users may pay a self determined fee. This is the product reviewed in the October 1992 Windows Magazine. Due to the complexity of XYEM the Macintosh version does not convert properly to the IBM version (as you may discover for yourself), contact BTR for information on the IBM version. Code is copyrighted by BTR, contact BTR if you would like to use the code in a modified or unmodified form.

Worth Noting:
1) On-line help is kept on board the macro. This makes it harder for the user to lose parts of the package as they move it around their machine. The add-in document XYEM is the only file necessary for XYE Menu to be fully functional (other than Excel 3.0 or greater).
2) XYE Menu does not build its plots directly from data, but must create a space for manipulating the input data. This is explained in the on-line help for those who are interested.
3) Interactive plot creation is not recommended on small screen macs.
